Thanks to everyone that voted in support of the SPLOST and Grovetown Redevelopment Powers referendums. Your votes helped us to approve both initiatives and set Columbia County and Grovetown on a good path for our future.

SPLOST received 38,962 votes for a total of 62.08%. Grovetown’s Redevelopment Powers received 2,545 votes for a total of 64.76%.

Overall, 63% of Columbia County voters showed up to the polls – statewide voter turnout was only 57%. The majority, or 52%, of Columbia County voters took advantage of advanced voting while 43% voted on Election Day. Only 5% of votes were cast via absentee ballots.
