Jacob Kaplan lives an ordinary life in Uruguay after fleeing Europe during WWII. At age 76, he begins to question his worth. After learning of a mysterious German prowling a nearby beach, he becomes convinced he has found a Nazi in hiding, and with the help of a new-found friend, he embarks on a plan to expose the supposed Nazi.
