The Columbia County Chamber of Commerce named Ellefson Transportation Group the 2024 Patriot Award Winner at its June 12^th Military Appreciation Executive Luncheon.
Awarded for the second time, the Patriot Award, presented by Southeastern Residential, stands as a prestigious recognition to businesses and individuals that exemplify unwavering support for our military community. This accolade celebrates those exceptional organizations that go above and beyond, making a profound impact on the lives of military personnel, veterans, and their families. They actively provide employment opportunities for veterans and military spouses and prioritize the well-being of military personnel, offering resources, services, and tailored benefits that address their unique needs.
Ellefson Transportation Group (ETG) is no stranger to receiving recognition, from local to national level awards, they have been leading from the front in moving, storing and even destroying materials to better our community. Over 1,000 military families each year are touched by this company as they pack, unpack and transport their household goods when it is time to relocate.
ETG is the longest serving Community Partner with the local Association of the United States of the Army (AUSA) Chapter with a total of 49 consecutive years supporting those in uniform. Every Christmas, they give their time in support of Fort Eisenhower Christmas House by coordinating a bike, helmet and toy drive to bring holiday cheer to military families in need.
