Leadership Columbia County Economic Development Day was a jammed pack class day! LCC Class of 2023 did something very few get to do - tour Plant Vogtle - an awesome experience! Lionel Prather, LCC 2022 EF, hosted the class at The Point, where there was lunch. Lionel shared a presentation about the Greenpoint Development in Harlem, followed by presentations on economic development from City of Harlem’s David Jenkins and City of Grovetown’s Elaine Matthews. Then they finished the day at Club Car in White Oak Industrial Park. Shelly Clark Blackburn LCC ‘18, shared about the economic impact of the Columbia County CVB. Next, the class heard from a broker panel led by Jonathan Crawford LCC ‘19, and Dennis Trotter with Jordan Trotter. Finally, the day ended with a presentation and tour of Club Car.
