Public Invited to Columbia County Candidates’ Forum
 
EVANS, Ga. -- The Columbia County Chamber of Commerce Political Action Committee will host an informative Candidates’ Forum on May 7 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. for the upcoming primary races at Evans High School. Candidates from the Columbia County Board of Commissioners District 2 & 3, Columbia County Board of Education District 4 and Georgia State House of Representatives District 131- Republican candidates have been invited to attend.
 
This Forum gives citizens of Columbia County a chance to educate themselves of the candidates ahead of the May 21 primary election. This is an opportunity for contested candidates to articulate their platforms and voters to assess their qualifications and positions on key issues.
