Summary of Position:
The Production Specialist is responsible for preparing substrates/media and producing all graphic / signage jobs according to work order specifications within the stated timeline. In addition, this team member is responsible for specified graphic / signage installations at the client’s site. This person will also be responsible for specified sign order deliveries. Additionally, the Production Specialist will assist with on-site signage inspection and sign measuring tasks. This person serves as backup to the Production Manager and assists with walk-in clients, answering phones and inventory management. The Production Specialist is responsible for maintaining a neat and organized work area.

Experience in the following a definite plus but not mandatory:
• Previous experience in the sign / graphic industry.
• Knowledge of sign / graphic industry substrates, media, and products.
• Design software applications:
o Adobe InDesign – current version
o Adobe Illustrator – current version
o Adobe Photoshop – current version
o Microsoft Office – current version (Word, Excel, Power Point)
• Wide-format printer, vinyl plotter, laminator and/or Onyx RIP operation.
• Color management concepts and procedures.
Primary Responsibilities:
A. Customer Service – as necessary:
• Work with clients in a consultative manner to understand their needs and provide guidance for best solution.
• Promote Image360 in a professional manner while on client site for installation, sign delivery and/or site inspection/ sign measuring tasks.
B. Operation and Maintenance of Equipment:
• As needed, operate plotter, laminator, wide-format equipment to produce client jobs.
• Operate desktop and/or copier scanners as needed.
• Operate sign cutters, saws, drills and other sign building equipment as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and operation of sign building equipment to ensure efficiency in production
D. Quality
• Maintain superior quality on all individual work.
• Work with team members to ensure superior quality on all jobs produced.
E. Inventory:
• Monitor sign substrate / material inventory and report to management in timely manner to ensure consistency in production flow and avoid production shut downs.
F. End of Day Procedures:
• Keep work zone tidy and clutter free.
G. General:
• Participate in daily production meetings.
• Work with management to reschedule workloads as necessary to meet promised due dates.
• Maintain clean and organized work area.
• Abide by center policies/procedures as outlined.
