Day One Fitness Recruiting Community Leaders for Inaugural Ring Leader Rumble

AUGUSTA, GA – Day One Fitness is stepping into the ring with a new fundraising event designed to bring community leaders together for a night of friendly competition, fun, and meaningful impact.

The inaugural Ring Leader Rumble will take place Thursday, November 5, 2026, at Day One Fitness. The nonprofit is currently recruiting local business owners, professionals, community leaders, and other well-connected individuals to serve as Ring Leaders and help introduce the Day One Fitness mission to new audiences throughout the CSRA.

Each Ring Leader commits to raising at least $1,000 leading up to the event by rallying friends, family, colleagues, customers, and their own community. Those who meet their fundraising goal will step into the ring on event night for a series of fun, Minute-to-Win-It-style challenges inspired by the balance, coordination, strength, cognition, and movement exercises Day One Fitness participants tackle every day.

And becoming a Ring Leader does not require months of training or a major time commitment.

“We wanted to create something that was fun and accessible for busy community leaders while also giving them an opportunity to experience a small piece of what our participants work so hard on every day,” said Danielle Williams, Executive Director of Day One Fitness. “More importantly, every Ring Leader introduces our mission to a completely new network of people. That awareness can be just as important as the dollars raised because we still hear far too often, ‘I wish I had known about Day One Fitness sooner.’”

Day One Fitness provides specialized, evidence-based fitness programs for individuals living with Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, multiple sclerosis, stroke recovery, mild cognitive impairment, and other neurological conditions.

In addition to recruiting Ring Leaders, Day One Fitness is seeking corporate sponsors, event partners, and businesses interested in providing goods or services to help make the inaugural event a success.

For Chamber members, Ring Leader Rumble offers an easy way to give back, engage employees and customers, expand community connections, and help introduce an important local resource to individuals and families who may need it.
