“Doctors Hospital is committed to meeting the healthcare needs of our rapidly growing community,” Joanna Conley, Chief Executive Officer of Doctors Hospital, said. “As the CSRA continues to expand, so does the demand for high-quality healthcare. These initiatives will allow us to better serve our patients now and in the years to come.”

Expansion of two towers and renovation of 6th Floor North Tower
In response to the growing healthcare needs of the community, Doctors Hospital will expand two towers: the 3rd Floor Burn Tower and the 4th Floor South Tower. The expansions of these towers will enhance patient care capacity, improve access to specialized treatments, and support the hospital’s commitment to providing high-quality care.
New Freestanding ER in Evans, Georgia
Doctors Hospital Evans Emergency, set to open this fall, will be a state-of-the-art Emergency Room staffed 24/7, 365 days a year by board-certified emergency medicine physicians and nurses. The facility will provide the same level of care as an emergency room located within a hospital.
The new 10,860-square-foot facility will feature 11 treatment rooms, including one triage room, as well as advanced imaging capabilities such as CT and X-ray, along with laboratory and pharmacy services. This $15 million project is expected to open this fall and will create 36 new full-time jobs.
Development of Graduate Medical Education (GME) Programs
Doctors Hospital will become a teaching hospital with the debut of Graduate Medical Education programs. Introducing residency programs to the hospital’s expanding services is essential for addressing the future healthcare needs of CSRA families. Developing the next generation of physicians will create a lasting and transformative impact on the health of our communities.

Doctors Hospital is investing in infrastructure renovations and equipment upgrades to enhance patient care, improve efficiency, and support medical advancements. Infrastructure improvements, including updates to the main hospital cafeteria, a hybrid operating room, and patient care units, will create a more comfortable and functional environment for both patients and staff. Equipment upgrades, such as new imaging technology, endoscopic instruments, and surgical enhancements, will ensure that medical teams have state-of-the-art tools to deliver high-quality care. These strategic investments reflect our commitment to meeting the evolving healthcare needs of our community while maintaining the highest standards of excellence.
